Independence Day

The Fourth of July. A great day for some, a not so great day for others. My Fourth of July was very good. It started off with going to a friends housse in Palm Bay for a Barbeque, then coming back to my family's condo for the rest of the party. Things were well, until the time to shoot off fireworks came. Even then things were well; lighting firecrackers, shooting bottlerockets, and blowing up other things such as m-80's. canister shells, etc etc. However when it came my time to use one of the canister shells, it accidentally fell in upside down and when lit blew up, but not only blew up, it also blew up the launcher. Which didn't go well for the 15 people anywhere between 5-25 feet of the launcher. It was funny, but will never be a day forgotten. Though the shell blowing up upside down was funny, what was even funnier and more fun to do was have to run from the cops after somebody in our building called the police on us. Luckily it was dark so no one could be identified and we made it back into the building before the police got to the beach. This has happened to us every year, and the "rat" has never beeen found yet, but that isn't going to stop us from having our Fourth of July fun. So remember no matter what always make sure that you have a good time, but play it safe.
